In September 2018, Yekemi joined the board at Interface, a public sector backed establishment helping Scottish businesses work more closely with academic institutions to drive innovative projects.
Yekemi has over 15 years of industry experience in petroleum engineering, technical sales and strategic marketing roles. Previous companies she has worked for include Schlumberger, GE Oil & Gas and Lloyd‘s Register. She is a best-selling author on social networks and holds an MBA (Distinction), a BEng and MSc (Distinction) in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.
Apart from strategic marketing, Yekemi is passionate about supporting girls in STEM, mentoring business owners in the poorest countries, creative writing and a keen runner – she recently completed the Couch to 5K programme!
